Residential Treatment

Don't know where to find help?

When you find that the best course of action is to go to a residential treatment program, suddenly you may try to say that you do not really have a problem. “If I just have a few good days, then I know I can handle this.” “If I go to some local meetings, then I should be fine.”

We at The Sober Lining refer to this stage of recovery as denial. The longer a person denies there is a problem, the worse it typically can get.

Are you losing control?

The idea of going away from home, away from your family and/or friends may not fit into your original idea of getting healthy and strong. We get it; you do not want someone else telling you what to do. You do not want someone manipulating you into getting help. You have everything under control; there is no need to blow everything out of proportion.

We are here to help

We at The Sober Lining have been working with people struggling with addiction / substance abuse and their families for a very long time. Most of us work with this company, because we needed support to find our own determination, motivation and courage to enter treatment.

We were fearful, we were in denial, we didn’t want to give up the high, we didn’t think anyone cared, and some of us doubted that treatment would help.

What can you expect?

A warm, friendly and supportive environment that will allow you to flourish and rediscover yourself, the new you. We work with some of the best Residential Treatment programs throughout the country that will join your personal team in ensuring your success.

12-Step Program

A 12-Step Program is the most widely used approach in treatment for recovery from alcohol, drug abuse and various other addictive behaviors and dysfunctions. This approach was established in 1935 by the founding of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA).

Alternative 12-Step Program

Over the past couple of decades, more people have been seeking help beyond the 12 Step approach; these approaches are often referred to as “alternative 12 step programs.” Supporters believe recognition will continue to increase with future generations’ exposure to these different approaches as the need for a higher focus on customized therapy.

Dual Diagnosis

One of the difficult parts of addiction is that often times we use substances to mask pain and suffering that we experience in our day-to-day life. If you have been living with depression or anxiety, you may have found that by using substances or drinking alcohol you can numb your pain or self-medicating. Our Treatment centers are aware of the need to treat all aspects of our client’s addiction. This means that trauma, ADD, learning differences, borderline personality, depression, anxiety, or many other mental health concerns must be addressed and treated.

Faith Based

Many individuals find comfort, support and success by immersing themselves into a treatment center that shares the same faith as them. We work with several treatment centers within each faith and/or religion. Let your Sober Lining Mentor know if you would prefer a faith based treatment center.
